So I'm hungry, right? I just got a job, and on Monday it starts at
5:00. It's 4:00 and I decide to go to the dining hall to get dinner.
This requires, of course, a walk out of Williams Dorm, along a sidewalk
lining the parking lot, and to the first floor of Crowley. No big deal.
I walk outside, happy that it feels so darn nice, and onto the
sidewalk. I hear a vehicle drive up behind me, which isn't a big deal
either. I mean, I'm walking next to a parking lot. It slows down, which
isn't really a big deal either. It's probably a bus, stopping at
Williams, or waiting to see if I need a ride.
Except it doesn't stop.
This vehicle is driving just behind me, at about the speed I'm walking.
That's not normal. I stop and look back. It's one of those "Physical
Operations" vans that drive all around campus. They take care of the
grounds. The people in them, not the vans. They pull up beside me, and
I duck down to look in the window. "Hi," I said. The two in the front
seat merely point at me. Techno music begins. Their fingers move to the
beat, back and forth, back and forth, pointing at me the entire time.
This is weird, I think. This is not normal.
And... prepare yourself, because I am NOT kidding... at all..
seriously... the side door slides back and a GIANT leaps out. I am
seriously not kidding. He could easily squish anyone you know. Even
very large people. He is huge. And he starts going crazy, dancing all
over the place to this techno beat that claims "God is real" in quiet,
dramatic tones. And all the people inside start going crazy too.
I do the only sensible thing, and there, on the side of the parking lot, start dancing with them.
The driver of the van said "Here we go!" and the techno beat grows more
intense. We dance around a little more, and then the GIANT leaps back
in the van, the van pulls away, and he slides the door shut. I mean,
they don't even finish the song.
I start to crack up, and head to the dining hall, which isn't open yet.

I already said it, but that's hilarious. I couldn't help but laugh when I read it on Facebook.
Every time I think about this story a smile creeps across my face.

Niiiiice. That's really funny!
(I think that Isaac might be slightly worried about you though....)
That kind of wierd. Did you know any of them?? Wonder why they choose you?
Well as long as it made your day. Sounds fun.
As I said on Facebook, I thought I saw some weird things at the secular university.
But I gotta know...did you ever get anything to eat?
Eventually. I had to go back to the dorm and wait for the dining hall to open.
Yeah, this is a hillarious story.
